For most students the summer break is the perfect time for writing their extended essay.

If you would like some guidance because you

  • need some motivation to get you started,
  • want to get on track with your EE,
  • want to get on top of the word count still ahead of you, or
  • need some help to overcome the writer’s block,
then join the Mid-IB EE Club and use those last days of summer before the school resumes to get going with your Extended Essay.

We usually meet up in August on five consecutive days for three hours each to discuss our research question and methods, create a well-structured outline, a clear and valid argument, and do some serious writing!

In this course you will

  • make your personal time-table and action plan,
  • refocus your research question if necessary,
  • make a great structure for your essay,
  • find out about the methods for conducting your research,
  • apply the tools designed for generating ideas and writing prolifically,
  • learn how to revise and edit your essay so it is ready for submission,
and so much more.

Above all, you will get the opportunity to write, write, write!

Beside conducting individual and group work, you will be provided with in-depth individual feedback on your essay by the workshop instructor.

Take advantage of the group energy to get into that writing flow and register for the Mid-IB EE Club.
